润滑油粘度越高越好吗?

 为了防止运动零件间接触面磨损,润滑油必须有足够的粘度,以便在各种运转温度下,都能在运动零件间形成油膜。但润滑油的粘度不得高于影响发动机启动的程度,并要求在持续运转条件下产生的摩擦最小。使用粘度过大的润滑油会增加机件的磨损,这是因为:

The use of lubricating oil that is too viscous will increase the wear of the parts due to:

 

1、发动机润滑油粘度过大,流动缓慢、上流慢、通过量不多,不能及时补充到摩擦表面。

2、若润滑油粘度过大,机件摩擦表面间的摩擦力增大,为克服增大的摩擦力,要多消耗燃料,同时也降低了发动机的输出功率。

         if the lubricant viscosity is too large, the mechanical friction between the surface friction increases, in order to overcome the increased friction, to consume more fuel, but also reduces the engine output power.

3、若润滑油粘度过大,油的循环速度也就慢,其冷却与散热效果就差,易使发动机过热。

4、若润滑油粘度过大,其循环速度就慢,通过润滑油滤清器的次数就少,难以及时将磨损下来的金属末屑、炭粒、尘埃从摩擦表面中清洗出去。

因此,不要使用粘度过大的发动机润滑油,更不能认为粘度越大越好。在保证润滑的条件下,根据使用时的气温范围,尽可能选用粘度小的润滑油。但对磨损已比较严重、间隙已比较大的发动机,可适当选用粘度稍大的润滑油。
